ingredients:

• 1-1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  
• 1-1/2 tablespoon white chocolate chips
• pinch of salt
• 1-1/2 - 2 teaspoon terra matcha organic culinary matcha
• 2 oz hot water (~176°F/80°C)
• 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
• whipped cream or marshmallows, optional for topping

directions:

1. heat the almond milk in a small pot over low heat and let it come to a simmer.
2. meanwhile, whisk together matcha and hot water until frothy and set it aside.
3. add the white chocolate chips and salt to the pot and stir. once the chocolate is melted, pour in the prepared matcha and vanilla extract. whisk until everything is well incorporated and heated through.
4. pour the hot chocolate into a mug and top with fresh whipped or marshmallows if desired.
5. serve immediately and enjoy!
