a holiday classic made with layers of decadent dark and white chocolate, cool peppermint, and organic matcha.

ingredients:
- 2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 2 cup white chocolate chips
- 4 teaspoon coconut oil, divided
- 1/8 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1 teaspoon terra matcha organic culinary matcha
- 4 candy canes, crushed
directions:
- line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- add the dark chocolate chips and 2 teaspoons of coconut oil in a medium glass bowl. microwave in 15 second increments, stirring after each, until the chocolate is melted.
- to a separate medium glass bowl, add the white chocolate chips and remaining 2 teaspoons of coconut oil. microwave again in 15 second increments, stirring after each, until the chocolate is melted.
- pour the dark chocolate onto the baking sheet and spread evenly with a rubber spatula. freeze for 10 minutes.
- meanwhile, sift the matcha into the white chocolate mixture and stir to combine. add the peppermint extract and stir again.
- remove the baking sheet from the freezer and pour the white chocolate mixture on top of the dark chocolate base. spread evenly with a rubber spatula and immediately sprinkle with the crushed peppermint candy.
- freeze for at least an hour.
- break the bark into pieces using your hands and serve immediately.
