ingredients:
- 1 hibiscus tea bag
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 2 teaspoon terra matcha organic culinary matcha
- 2 teaspoon cane sugar
- 2 oz hot water (~176°F/80°C)
- 1/2 cup barista blend oat milk
- ice
directions:
- steep the hibiscus tea bag in hot water for 5 minutes and set it aside to cool.
- meanwhile, whisk the matcha and cane sugar with hot water in a bowl using a bamboo or electric whisk until well combined. Set the matcha aside to cool.
- pour the matcha into a tall glass cup and top with plenty of ice. slowly pour the oat milk over a small spoon so that it drizzles over the ice, and repeat this process to top the milk with hibiscus tea.

notes:
- barista blend oat milk works best as a non-dairy option against the acidity of hibiscus tea to prevent the milk from curdling.
- adding sugar to the matcha is highly recommended to add volume and prevent it from mixing with the milk.
